Your 2012 Holiday Wine Shopping List

It’s that time again! For most of us, the month ahead will be jam packed with occasions that begin with a frantic trip to the liquor store to snatch up the appropriate bottle of wine. This year, for your convenience I’ve broken this shopping list into categories that should suit a particular need or occasion. Whether you’re in search of a friendly bottle for a cocktail soiree, an impressive dinner party pairing, or a fool proof gift for your boss – this shopping list should have you sorted! Just note that the lists that I have marked “available in private stores” are available at Kitsilano Wine Cellar and/or Everything Wine in North Vancouver.

  1. Hi Em. Complments of the season to you and yours. Agree with you on the 2 Aussie wines, but how come you can buy them cheaper than us. Hope to catch up.Aussie Baz

    • Hi Barry! Glad you like the Aussie selections. It’s unusual for us Canadians to hear that we are paying less for wines than elsewhere in the world. I’m not sure why we would be getting Coldstream Hills & Josef Chromy cheaper than in Oz, but I’m pleased to have these wines available to us in BC! I’ll be seeing you in Melbourne very soon!
